About Choir:
Our choral program is open to anyone, regardless of whether you've had choir before. We perform a variety of music at five different concerts throughout the year. We only have a one-time fee of $20 to cover your uniform.

About John Horn Jaguar Band:
The Jaguar Band has consistently performed with excellence since the school opened in 2000. We strive to make not only outstanding musicians, but also outstanding citizens. The Jaguar Band performs throughout the school year beginning with Marching Band and finishing with Graduation. This years marching band was the first 6A band from Mesquite ISD to reach the UIL State Marching Contest! Whether it is Solo and Ensemble Contest or Concert and Sight Reading, the Jaguar Band will be there pushing for excellence!
National Art Honor Society

About National Art Honor Society:
Art Club will meet every Tuesday from 4:00-5:00pm in room G106. In Art Club we will work on individual and group projects. You will also have the opportunity to volunteer your help, with art related activities, at community events. $20.00 Member Fee, $5.00 Supply Fee. Seniors can earn Honor Cords.

About Orchestra:
Orchestra is open to all string players who want to make music together. You must be enrolled in an orchestra class. We have social events throughout the year, as well as concerts, contests, and trips. Trips and social events are optional and require a fee which varies depending upon the activity.
Drill Team
Coach: Whitney Cook
Drill Team is a dance performing group. Students must tryout for Drill Team; both Varsity and JV. Tryouts consist of a vairety of dance techniques that are involved in drill team. Varsity Sweetheart members are for 10-12 grade. JV Drill members are for 9th-10th grade. Tryouts for Varsity are always the week BEFORE Spring Break. Tryouts for JV are always the week AFTER Spring Break. Students MUST tryout if they are wanting to join Drill Team. Fees for Varsity: $650.00. Fees for JV: $250.
