Horn CTE Students Connect Classroom Learning to Real-World Opportunities

Two Horn High School Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs took center stage at Mesquite ISD’s recent Fall Realtor Luncheon, giving students an opportunity to put their classroom learning into action.
Led by Chef Reagan Smith, Horn’s culinary arts students catered the luncheon, showcasing their skills for almost 90 guests. Students in Horn’s real estate pathway, along with their teacher, Dee Abbott, also attended the event and connected with veteran real estate professionals. These conversations gave students valuable opportunities to build professional connections and explore potential internships and job-shadowing experiences in the industry.
We are proud of these students for representing Horn excellence!
